Terms
The short version: upload only what you're allowed to, check AI answers against your course material, and keep your account to yourself. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to use Coursepill. Some of the AI services that power it only allow adult users, so we can't offer accounts to anyone younger.
What you upload
Coursepill lets you upload slides, notes, PDFs and other course material, including material written by your instructors or classmates. When you upload something, you confirm that you have the right to use it this way — for example, it's your own work, or it was shared with you for your course and you're using it for your own study.
Don't upload anything you aren't allowed to share, anything illegal, or other people's personal information. Your uploads stay private to your account; Coursepill doesn't publish them or show them to other students.
Some instructors set rules about putting their course material into AI tools — check your course outline. You're responsible for following your course's rules about AI and your school's policies.
If you believe something on Coursepill uses your work without permission, email hello@coursepill.com and we'll look into it and remove it where appropriate.
AI answers can be wrong
Summaries, levels, answers, flashcards and practice questions are written by AI from your course material. AI makes mistakes: it can misread a slide, leave something out, or state something confidently that isn't right. Coursepill shows where each answer comes from so you can check it.
Always check anything important — especially before a test or an assignment — against the source and your instructor. Coursepill is a study aid, not a replacement for your course, and it isn't a tool for doing graded work for you. Follow your school's academic integrity rules.
Your account
Accounts are invite-only for now. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and don't share your account. Don't try to get around limits, break the service, or get at other people's data.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; what that removes is described in the Privacy policy.
The service
Coursepill is free during the invite period. Features may change while we build it, and we may need to pause or end it. These terms may change too; the date at the top shows the latest version.
Plans and payments
Plans are paid in credits. Building something new (a level, a practice set, an Ask answer) uses credits; replaying what you've already made doesn't. Your plan's credits refill each month on the day your plan started and don't carry over. Bonus and pack credits last until the date shown in your account.
Payments are handled by Stripe. A paid plan renews until you cancel it from the Account page; you keep it until the end of the period you paid for. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us. A class code from your school covers your plan until the date it shows.
